Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and BAngleTools (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

BAngleTools provides a browser-first toolkit that includes:

Table Extractor — a browser extension for Chrome and Edge that detects, extracts, and exports tables from web pages. The extension processes all data locally in your browser.

Unicode Converters — free online tools that convert text between Unicode and legacy font encodings (Bijoy, Krutidev, Preeti). All conversions are performed client-side in your browser.

We may add, modify, or discontinue features or tools at any time without prior notice. We strive to maintain service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Services. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. As noted in our Privacy Policy, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

Use the Services to violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.

Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise derive the source code of the Table Extractor extension, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Use automated scripts, bots, or crawlers to access the Services in a manner that overloads or disrupts our infrastructure.

Distribute malicious software or use the Services to harm other users or systems.

Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notices displayed on or within the Services.

Use the Table Extractor extension to extract copyrighted data from websites without proper authorization.

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Reverse engineer or decompile the extension (except as permitted by law)
• Overload or disrupt service infrastructure with automated scripts
• Distribute malicious software
• Remove or alter proprietary rights notices
• Extract copyrighted data without authorization

The Services, including the website design, text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by BAngleTools and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The BAngleTools name and logo are trademarks of BAngleTools.

The Table Extractor extension source code is available as an open-source project. Use of the source code is subject to the terms of the applicable open-source license under which it is distributed.

You retain all rights to the content you process using our tools (such as text you convert or tables you extract). We do not claim any ownership of your content. Since all processing occurs locally in your browser, your content is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

You are solely responsible for any content you process, convert, or extract using the Services. This includes ensuring you have the legal right to extract, copy, or convert data from web pages you access with Table Extractor.

BAngleTools does not monitor, review, or store any content processed through our tools. We are not liable for any content that users choose to process or export using the Services.

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Services will be error-free, uninterrupted, or completely accurate. Table extraction results may vary depending on web page structure and content. Unicode conversion results may vary depending on the input text and target encoding.

You use the Services at your own risk. We are not responsible for any data loss, business interruption, or other damages resulting from the use of or inability to use the Services.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL BANGLETOOLS, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICES.

THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF BANGLETOOLS FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICES, WHICH IS ZERO DOLLARS ($0) GIVEN THAT ALL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BAngleTools and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

If material changes are made, we will post a notice on our website. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

You may stop using the Services at any time. You may uninstall the Table Extractor extension at any time through your browser’s extension management page.

We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue any or all of the Services at any time, with or without cause and without prior notice. Since the Services are provided free of charge and require no registration, termination does not require any action on your part.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of competent jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also be entitled to resolve disputes through the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
