Terms of Service

Table Extractor is a browser extension that detects tabular data on the pages you view and lets you preview, clean, and export it. It runs entirely locally in your browser and does not upload the data you extract. Nothing in these terms changes how the extension handles your data — that is described in the Privacy Policy.

• The extension is a client-side tool: it does not transmit, store, or analyze your data on a server.
• No subscription or account is required to use the extension.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the extension on browsers you control, for your own lawful internal analysis.

• You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense the extension, in whole or in part.
• You may not decompile, reverse-engineer, or attempt to derive the extension's source code, except as permitted by law.
• Uninstalling the extension terminates this license.

You agree to use the extension in compliance with all applicable laws, the terms and policies of any website you visit, and any access rights you hold on that site. Because the extension runs in your own session, you are responsible for your use of the extracted data.

• Do not use the extension where doing so would violate a website's terms of service, an applicable license, or data-protection laws.
• Do not use the extension for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful purposes.
• You are responsible for any page that blocks, limits, or conditions automated extraction, and for obtaining any permission you may need.

The extension is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that every table can be detected, that extracted tables will be complete or error-free, or that errors will be corrected.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the extension, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event will our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these terms or your use of the extension exceed the amount you paid us in connection with the extension (and if you paid us nothing, liability is limited to the amount of any donation you made to us).

The extension — including its code, design, logo, and name — is owned by BAngleTools and is protected by intellectual-property and copyright laws. You own the data you extract and create with the extension; we do not claim ownership of your output.

We may update the extension, revise these terms, or discontinue the product at any time. Material changes to these terms will be reported on this page, and material changes to the extension will be noted in the Chrome Web Store release notes.
