BAngleTools (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates a browser-first toolkit that includes the Table Extractor extension and online Unicode conversion tools. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we do and do not collect, how data is handled, and the choices available to you.
Information We Do Not Collect
BAngleTools is designed with a privacy-first, local-first architecture. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information when you use our tools.
Specifically, we do NOT:
- Require account registration or login
- Collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any personal identifiers
- Track your browsing activity, clicks, or usage patterns
- Use analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party tracking pixels
- Sell or share any user data with third parties
How Each Tool Handles Data
All data processing happens locally in your browser. No text, table data, or converted content is ever sent to our servers or any external server.
Table Extractor (Browser Extension)
The Table Extractor extension detects and extracts tables from web pages you visit. All table detection, data extraction, and export operations are performed entirely within your browser. Table data is processed in memory and is not transmitted anywhere. Exported files (CSV, Excel, JSON, Markdown) are generated locally and saved directly to your device.
The extension stores your preferences (such as export format and detection rules) in browser local storage. This data never leaves your device. You can clear this data at any time by removing the extension or clearing your browser storage.
Unicode Converters (Online Tools)
Our online Unicode converters (Unicode to Bijoy, Unicode to Krutidev, Unicode to Preeti) process all text conversions entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. The text you paste into the converter is never sent to any server. Conversion history is stored locally in your browser and is not synchronized or transmitted.
You can clear your conversion history at any time by clicking the clear button within the tool or by clearing your browser storage.
Third-Party Services
The Table Extractor extension is distributed through the Chrome Web Store and the Microsoft Edge Add-ons store. When you install or update the extension, the Chrome Web Store or Edge Add-ons store may collect standard installation metrics in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not control how these stores handle data and recommend reviewing their respective privacy policies.
Our website is hosted on Cloudflare's edge network. Cloudflare may process basic technical data (such as IP address and request timestamps) as part of its content delivery and security services, in accordance with Cloudflare's privacy policy. This is standard infrastructure-level processing and is not used to identify or track individual users.
We do not integrate any advertising networks, social media plugins, or marketing analytics tools.
Data Security
Because BAngleTools does not collect or transmit personal data, there is no central database of user information that could be compromised. All data remains on your device under your control.
We recommend that you keep your browser updated to the latest version and use standard browser security settings to protect data stored in local storage.
Your Rights and Choices
Since BAngleTools does not collect personal data, there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete on our servers. You have full control over data stored locally in your browser:
You can clear conversion history within any Unicode converter tool at any time.
You can clear all BAngleTools data by clearing your browser storage for our domain.
You can uninstall the Table Extractor extension at any time to remove all extension data.
You can change or reset your theme and language preferences at any time using the controls in the site header.
Children's Privacy
BAngleTools does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Since we do not collect personal information from any user, our services are safe for users of all ages. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our services (which should not be possible given our architecture), please contact us so we can investigate.
International Users
BAngleTools is available worldwide. Because we do not collect personal data or transfer user data across borders, there are no cross-border data transfer concerns. Our privacy practices are consistent with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other applicable privacy laws.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal compliance. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your privacy.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will post a notice on our website or within the Table Extractor extension.
