BAngleTools is a privacy-first, local-first web toolkit built for anyone who works with web data. From the Table Extractor browser extension to online Unicode converters and PDF extraction tools, everything runs inside your browser — no server-side processing, no data uploads, no registration required.

Our Mission

BAngleTools was created with a simple mission: make working with web data easier, faster, and more private. We believe tools should respect your data — that means processing everything locally in your browser, never sending your text or tables to external servers, and keeping every tool free to use.

Whether you are a researcher extracting tables from web pages, a typist converting between Unicode and legacy font encodings, or a data analyst pulling structured data from PDFs, BAngleTools gives you the tools to get the job done without compromising privacy.

Local-First Architecture

Every tool on BAngleTools processes data inside your browser. The Table Extractor extension runs entirely as a Chrome and Edge extension. The Unicode converters use JavaScript engines built into your browser. The PDF extraction tools use Web Workers to parse and extract data without server round-trips.

This architecture means your data never leaves your device. No text, tables, PDFs, or conversion results are transmitted to any server. This is especially important for sensitive documents like financial reports, invoices, and legal contracts.

Product Roadmap

BAngleTools is built in three layers. Each layer builds on the same data pipeline, so new tools extend existing workflows rather than starting from scratch.

  • Layer 1 — Browser Extensions: Table Extractor v1.0.0 is live today for Chrome and Edge, with table detection, cleaning, and multi-format export.
  • Layer 2 — Online Tools: Six Unicode converters, one HTML table-to-Excel converter, and six PDF extraction tools are live today.
  • Layer 3 — Automation: Planned future layer that will chain extraction, cleaning, conversion, and export into reusable workflows designed for AI agent orchestration.
